When trying to emerge 'cheese' from sunrise overlay, it wants to update gstreamer and gst-plugins to unstable version, but gst-plugins ./configure failed complaining gstreamer was too old, I guess the dependencies of gst-plugins do not include gstreamer >= 0.10.17.

yeah, it's fixed with current gst-plugins-v4l2
