I guess deskbar-applet initially depended on gnome-python-extras for the wnck bindings. Since these are now part of gnome-python-desktop, this dependency can be removed (deskbar-applet deps on gnome-python-desktop which blocks the old versions of gnome-python-extras which provided wnck anyway).
