Hi, linuxwacom-0.7.8-8 was released on 2008-02-28. (http://linuxwacom.sourceforge.net/). I attach a patch for the new ebuild. GI
Created attachment 146941 [details, diff] Patch for the new ebuild
Created attachment 146942 [details] Don't scale coordinates to screen Once attachment 14864 [details] is applied to xorg-server (see bug 21433), the quirk rescale is no longer needed. (linuxwacom will still enable it by default, so I disabled it in the ebuild. Perhaps some dependency voodoo needs to be done to check if patch 14864 has been applied or not before disabling quirk rescale, so I called the new ebuild -r1.
Hiya Gautam, Thanks for the updated ebuild. I'll work on adding it to a testing overlay once I get back after this weekend. There are a few typos in your report though, one of which would really help clear up your later comments. First off I'm assuming you meant 0.7.9-8, rather than 0.7.8-8 and I've adjusted the summary accordingly. The other typo was the bug number you mentioned. It appears to be a digit short, and referred to a postfix bug, which didn't make much sense. If you could let us know which bug you meant, we can investigate and figure out how best to deal with the issue... 5:)

Thanks for catching it! > The other typo was the bug number you mentioned. It appears to be a digit > short, and referred to a postfix bug, which didn't make much sense. (This has been fixed upstream, but the patches haven't yet made their way down to Gentoo. I patched all the ebuilds and filed them on Gentoo this morning, and this was one of them) Thanks, GI
Best close this bug and use Bug #221117 instead
Yep, this hit the tree a while ago, thanks for spotting it... 5:)
