I was revisiting/updating an NFSv4 test client I worked on a while back. During the update, it appears libgssapi has been deprecated and replaced with libgssglue. However, libgssapi provided /etc/gssapi_mech.conf, without which rpc.gssd won't run: # /etc/init.d/rpc.gssd start * Starting gssd ... warning: unable to open /etc/gssapi_mech.conf: errno 2 (No such file or directory) rpc.gssd: Problem with gssapi library I copied in the /etc/gssapi_mech.conf from libgssapi and it worked fine. Should net-libs/libgssglue provide this config file? Does some other package provide it now?
Any feedback on this?
the 0.1-r1 ebuild now installs the example config file
