Although one can install this on his/her own it would be nice to have the procmail library bundle available site-wide. These are just ready-made procmail filters which could be pushed quickly into "stable" as a user would have to call them intentionally anyway. Filters to rip MIME, spam, uudecode, mimic vacation(1), etc.
Created attachment 177817 [details] procmail-lib-20070930.ebuild The ebuild just places the files into the right place (/usr/share/procmail-lib/). That is what is necessary. The user has to call some of the "recipes" from his/her own ~/.procmailrc. I would say it can go into stable for any platform for which mail-filter/procmail is keyworded.
Yeh, upstream renamed the files to make them clearer, so the name of the ebuild should be procmail-lib-20081108.ebuild (note the tar.gz file extracts into ./procmail-lib-2008.1108/) which is not optimal.
InCVS. Take a look at the ebuild in CVS, i made some changes (MY_PV, S) to your ebuild.
Works, thanks.
