Description Matthias Geerdsen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-03-12 20:09:52 UTC
Since it is sometimes necessary to directly mess with the .xml files in the pool and data directory of glsamaker, it would be nice if those would belong to apache:www_glsamaker with mode 0660. When glsamaker was still hosted on woodpecker the files were directly created with group www_glsamaker iirc, which was quite handy. It should be sufficient though, if they were regularly (cfengine?) chmod'ed/chgrp'ed in case that would be preferred.
Comment 1 Raphael Marichez (Falco) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-03-13 09:45:02 UTC
in order to implement this, a cron is surely possible, but one can also add apache to the www_glsamaker group, and we'll modify glsamaker to do a chgrp().

2.5 year old bug. If something is still needed here please comment soon. I will close this request in a few weeks (when I check the bug queue again). Thanks.
