I've been trying both evolution-exchange-2.12.3 and evolution-exchange-2.21.91 (experimental) but both have serious problems, for example I cannot see any e-mails in my Inbox even though I can see them e.g. with Outlook. This renders those versions practically unusable. The same goes for viewing group members. Please restore the 2.10.* versions or the latest 2.10 one. It used to work without such problems. Reproducible: Always
We are not restoring vulnerable versions; get the real issue fixed. Unfortunately there's sore lack of info to identify the problem here, even emerge --info is missing.
Created attachment 146089 [details] emerge --info
Attached emerge --info. Currently I also have: $ ls /var/db/pkg/gnome-base/ gail-1.20.1 gnome-common-2.20.0 gnome-mount-0.6 libbonoboui-2.20.0 libgnomecanvas-2.20.1.1 libgnomeui-2.20.1.1 orbit-2.14.10 gconf-2.20.1 gnome-keyring-2.20.1 gnome-vfs-2.20.1 libglade-2.6.2 libgnomeprint-2.18.2 libgtop-2.20.0 gdm-2.20.1 gnome-mime-data-2.18.0 libbonobo-2.20.3 libgnome-2.20.1.1 libgnomeprintui-2.18.1 librsvg-2.18.2 I've found several related bugs: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435371 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442098 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=478151 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=497949 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=381351 Manually deleting ~/.evolution/exchange and ~/.evolution/mail/exchange helps to restore the messages that were removed from view, but I'm not sure it's a real solution. Version 2.10 used to work for me in this regard without such manual hacks, I would like to have an option to install it back.
this issue should have been solved in 2.22 release. If you can still reproduce it with 2.24, I strongly suggest visiting upstream on their irc channel (#evolution-hackers on GimpNet) and/or filling an upstream bug.
err #evolution is the irc channel, evolution-hackers is the mailing list, sorry.
