ooqstart-gnome really is ugly and dead and should be buried. Which I would have done if the built-in quickstarter would be available in openoffice-bin...

If you really want a quickstarter use the built-in one in the source-based build

Oh, I didnt know, this was built in in the source version. I'm only using the binary because I don't have 5 gb of free space to build it. 
But wouldn't it be the best then to build it into openoffice-bin, too, and delete this package from the repository?

We are not building the binaries for openoffice-bin ourselves but take them from upstream. Unfortunately that's where the problem is atm, upstream until now as reluctant to fully integrate the quickstarter...
