I'm not getting a response from rsync. Is the server still available?
I've added 194.85.81.130 to the access list for rsync1.us.gentoo.org. Please update your rsync cron jobs to point to rsync1.us.gentoo.org and post back here when you've done so. We'll monitor the server for a couple days to make sure things are working fine and then add it to the rotation. Also, I'd like to confirm some details. Is the server running ntp? Home page : http://www.dgap.mipt.ru (sorry, it on russian) Campus has 3Mbit/s full-duplex internet channel, but utilized of outgoing channel far less then incoming. dgap-gw.mipt.ru has 1Gb RAM, 2GB Swap and AthlonXP 1600+.
The server seems to be missing quite a few syncs. I've also noticed a few that seem to be later than normal. Can you check to see if rsync is giving any errors? This first set shows missed rsyncs. All dates are date -uR format. Such as :04 or :34. We generally like to see within 2 minutes of the hour or half hour.
