Probably broken by some Portage changes.

After sourcing the environment file, it can source (In reply to comment #0)

That stuff doesn't really belong in the environment file, and sandboxshell will no longer work with an unfiltered environment due to bug 190128. To solve this, sandboxshell can source ebuild.sh instead. That will setup the environment correctly.

really we should look at getting rid of sandboxshell.  we have `sandbox` now in newer versions of sandbox ...

sandbox-1.3 has integrated `sandbox` which provides same functionality
