Description Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2003-05-19 07:48:17 UTC
As the opera-ebuilds use opera-static by default, is there a reason why we still
have opera-static-ebuilds?
And I think all the 7.10beta-stuff (and maybe some of the 6.x-ebuilds) can also
be removed.

Yes, I agree.
Now, if I could only find any docs about removing ebuilds from the portage tree... (goes searching).
Comment 2 Hanno Böck gentoo-dev 2003-05-28 14:03:05 UTC
well, isn't removing ebuilds just deleting them from cvs? Shall I remove them?
Comment 3 Arcady Genkin (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-05-28 19:19:04 UTC
According to azarah, it also involves masking the ebuild in package.mask.
I have just done so, and removed all the files in the opera-static directory, except for the Changelog.

Closing this bug.
