daemontools-scripts has http://dev.gentoo.org/~kaiowas/ as HOMEPAGE but it's just a 404 not found, this makes it difficult to gather documentation about what those scripts are and what they do.

Actually I don't even know what these scripts do - I was looking for some doc but then didn't have time to emerge and find out. I filed this bug for the ebuild, not for the homepage. If there isn't one, shouldn't the ebuild reflect that in HOMEPAGE?

daemontools-scripts is a rewrite of supervise-scripts, with a few extras: - sample init scripts are provided for some daemons - this was requested by some very old gentoo bugs. - selinux needed daemontools-scripts in order for properly start daemons under daemontools. sorry I had no time to maintain this package any further, even if the level of maintenance needed for it is almost zero. if anyone wants to pick up this package, he's welcome.
