Its also running fine on march=Nocona under x64 Portage 2.1.4.4 (hardened/amd64/multilib, gcc-3.4.6, glibc-2.6.1-r0, 2.6.23-hardened-r11 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.23-hardened-r11 x86_64 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5420 @ 2.50GHz Timestamp of tree: Thu, 22 May 2008 00:57:01 +0000 app-shells/bash: 3.2_p33 dev-lang/python: 2.4.4-r9 dev-python/pycrypto: 2.0.1-r6 sys-apps/baselayout: 1.12.11.1 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.18.1-r2 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.61-r1 sys-devel/automake: 1.9.6-r2, 1.10.1 sys-devel/binutils: 2.18-r1 sys-devel/gcc-config: 1.4.0-r4 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.26 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.23-r3 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" CBUILD="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -fforce-addr -fomit-frame-pointer -march=nocona" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /var/qmail/alias /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/env.d /etc/gconf /etc/revdep-rebuild /etc/terminfo /etc/udev/rules.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -fforce-addr -fomit-frame-pointer -march=nocona"
I would also kindly ask to do version bump. There is 0.13 in the portage but 0.14 is out from this January. I did: cp /usr/portage/net-misc/ipsvd/ipsvd-0.13.0.ebuild /usr/portage/net-misc/ipsvd/ipsvd-0.14.0.ebuild ebuild /usr/portage/net-misc/ipsvd/ipsvd-0.14.0.ebuild digest Then unmask and ~* (coz of amd64 arch). And it compiled w/o any problem. /usr/bin/tcpsvd -V $Id: 4f21b1c1026b4c301191b8ee0bc43f3f9090d52c $ usage: /usr/bin/tcpsvd [-Ehpv] [-u user] [-c n] [-C n:msg] [-b n] [-l name] [-i dir|-x cdb] [-t sec] host port prog
Greetings, im not sure, if this is not waste of my time. Last time nobody has bother to copy and rename last ebuild. But anyway... Stable version 1.0 of IPSVD has been released. It might be worth to version bump our v0.13. http://smarden.org/ipsvd/ipsvd-1.0.0.tar.gz cheers tomas
~amd64 added.
