Description Alan Hourihane 2008-02-28 14:33:07 UTC
mythweb needs updating to cope with the recent bumps to mythtv for the beta releases, as we're getting a protocol mismatch.

Reproducible: Always

You're talking about 0.21, which is currently unsupported and bumps happen as they happen.

You're welcome to use features from the subversion.eclass to pull in a newer revision if you'd like. ESVN_REVISION=somenumber emerge mythweb

That's fine - I can cope with that.

In the future though, do you want me to report problems like this, or not really bother ?

The thing is, the trunk ebuilds are in there masked as basically a convenience for people that complained it was tough to build trunk on Gentoo. So I added them, they get updated as possible.

Now when 0.22 trunk builds start showing up, that'll definitely be the case. However, since we're trying to push 0.21 out as a release. I've been working on making decent beta builds of everything. I'm hoping to have beta builds for everything by this weekend when I probably upgrade my own MythTV box.

Sure, I understand. I wasn't hassling. I'm just wondering whether my bug reports cause more strife for masked packages or not, that's all.

Just a yes/no and I'll deal with the issues with masked packages.
