ell, it isn't good here <G>.
I see this was submitted as a previous bug that was marked invalid.  Well - it's
not invalid - it's broken.

When I emerge xfs-dump it first tries to emerge dmapi:


It tells me emerge 1 of w sys-apps/dmapi-2.0.5-r1 

BUT it then says

dmapi-2.0.5.src.tar.gz: message digests do not match, etc.

Why is it getting 2.0.5 when it should be getting 2.0.5-r1?

I did as suggested - remove the /usr/portage/distfiles/dmapi* but that did not work.


I couldn't modify the existing bug so I'm opening this one.

I did

emerge sys-apps/dmapi-2.0.5.ebuild and it worked fine. I think the r1 ebuild is porked.

I just fixed the digest

There was nothing wrong with the ebuild but the digest for 2.0.5 and 2.0.5-r1 had different md5sums although 2.0.5 and 2.0.5-r1 are using the same SRC_URI.
Obviously that couldn't be right, so I fixed the digest for 2.0.5-r1
