Description Peter Gerassimoff 2003-05-17 18:14:52 UTC
Upon emerge gdm, this message returned:
  Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) gnome-base/gdm-2.4.1.4 to /
   --- No package manifest found: /usr/portage/gnome-base/gdm/Manifest
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) gdm-2.4.1.4.tar.bz2

!!! File is corrupt or incomplete. (Digests do not match)
>>> our recorded digest: 0ee7c7fe66dc2767d44b414e2dfc828b
>>>  your file's digest: de28b620010e9104c7e89ef554f2a08f
!!! File does not exist: /usr/portage/distfiles//gentoo-gdm-theme.tar.bz2

I have tried removing gdm-2.4.1.4.tar.bz2 and reattempting. Same error. bz2 file does match md5 from ftp.gnome.org. Also tried reloading gentoo-gdm-theme.tar.bz2. No joy!
Comment 1 Peter Gerassimoff 2003-05-17 18:21:16 UTC
Fixed by overwriting *theme.tar.bz2 file and reloading *theme* from ibiblio and restarting emerge. Must have been a bad xfer.

hmm not really, if you had the old theme pack around this might happen i guess. i should've thought of that and versioned the theme tar.

anyway, not much i can do about it annymore.
