Description FieldySnuts 2003-05-17 12:55:26 UTC
app-arch/rpm2targz-8.0 fails to build due to a message digest error:

# emerge -b ati-drivers
Calculating dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 2) app-arch/rpm2targz-8.0 to /
>>> md5 ;-) rpm2targz

!!! rpmoffset.c: message digests do not match!
!!! rpmoffset.c is corrupt or incomplete.
>>> our recorded digest: 4e111f011322ee73207ef14f09eef763
>>>  your file's digest: 09e9569f5d2d3bde6b2f27b72706b25b
>>> Please delete /home/portage/distfiles/rpmoffset.c and refetch.

I removed that file, resynced and retried, and still got the same error.

Portage 2.0.47-r10 (default-1.0, gcc-3.2.3, glibc-2.2.5-r2,2.2.5-r8)

Ugh. anyone know how I can avoid the way some of my comments came out all
broken up? Konqueror 3.1.1.
