Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -up system
2.emerge -u
3.

Actual Results:  
well it seems to be libtool rc.1 makefile error

Expected Results:  
compiled and installed flawlessly

This is the contents of the emerge output from the error I receive trying to
update my system for the first time.

After issuing "emerge -u system" I recived the following message:

!!! ERROR: sys-devel/libtool-1.4.3-r1 failed.
!!! Function epatch, line 321, Exitcode 0.
!!! Failed patch: libtool-1.2f-cache.patch!

I copied the output the error message said to save and added it as an atachment to this bug.

Nope, still does not work (as on Sept 10, 03). Attaching a txt file with the whole output. Here are the last few lines of the error
