emerge --info is missing; also I don't understand what's the url reference to a png supposed to illustrate, the link doesn't load here and we have attachments feature in bugzilla for a reason.

Shows firefox without gif
Comment 4 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-02-24 21:00:37 UTC
Erm.... so; it works perfectly fine here, plus the stuff in your PORTDIR_OVERLAY doesn't look like something we could even remotely support. Can you reproduce this on a *sane* system?
Comment 5 Angelo Giuseppe De Michele 2008-02-24 21:05:46 UTC
Ehm I wouldn't really like to rebuild a gentoo system from scratch to test if firefox loads gifs... the point is that *everything* else works fine, the whole system shows gifs normally, epiphany, opera and konqueror too. Is there any way to get firefox verbose?

Try with -bin 2.0.0.12, but i believe we can't do nothing about that, since it breaks on -bin as well, it means a problem in your system.

Just tried, not working :(
Comment 8 Angelo Giuseppe De Michele 2008-02-25 10:46:26 UTC
Some misconfiguration, cause as root it works fine. Sorry.
