No version of media-libs/xine-lib installs the very useful ChangeLog to /usr/share/doc/${P}, please consider adding dodoc ChangeLog and revising what else useful could be missing.
With ChangeLog installed it would be easy to see what's new in a version bump after installation, such as seen in the dodoc'ed NEWS files of many other projects.

*scrib scrib* This has to be fixed upstream by actually installing it from there directly.

Fixed in 1.1.10.1-r1 though.
