When attempting to install seahorse (GPG front end) the install failed because it required libgnomeui Once I had installed libgnomegui(and it many dependencies!) - everything worked fine The initial error that I got was during the configure stage and was as follows: checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config checking for libgnomeui-2.0 libglade-2.0... Package libgnomeui-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libgnomeui-2.0.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'libgnomeui-2.0' found configure: error: Library requirements (libgnomeui-2.0 libglade-2.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them. !!! ERROR: app-crypt/seahorse-0.6.2 failed. !!! Function econf, Line 273, Exitcode 1 !!! econf failed
i already fixed this in the latest seahorse release 0.6.3 in ~ . Either backport it or mark stable i guess.
i'd support marking it 0.6.3 to stable. on the rare occasions i've turned it on .. it works fine, althought i don't have many people on my keyring anyway.
marked 0.6.3 stable x86
