Pymol benefits from shader support. I updated the ebuild and provides the necessary patch. Unfortunately something in this breaks the nosplash patch. It installs fine, but the splash isn't hidden anymore. I cant figure out why and how to work around. Perhaps Donnie, you can help.
I took an ebuild which supports the latest svn version, but it should work fine with every other version, too.

This is in the science overlay and should be in my -9999 too. FYI, the reason nosplash broke is that the logic is wrong. You wanted to check whether a variable didn't exist (-z) and instead checked for it existing (-n).

I noticed that. Is fixed in #229687.
