python-team, this needs some more work: 1. the install-script does the optimization which is not what we want. 2. check site-packages/eric4config.py: it contains a build-location path in the var "apidir" 3. Documentation is installed twice (once by the install.py and once by dodoc) maybe we should check to do the install ourselves completely instead of relying on that broken install.py-script.
