Since the wswtv_server (warsow-tv in Gentoo?) part of Warsow does not necessarily depend on the data-files, it might be nice to have the option of emerging warsow with a USE="-opengl -dedicated tv" which builds the tv-server only.

When wouldn't the tv server require the data files? Do you mean the pk3 files?
