Description Morpheus 2003-05-15 03:09:47 UTC
When I launch scripts/bootstrap.sh, all the first step of bootstrap (binutils,
gcc, gettest, glibc) works fine, but the second stage fails on baselayout. I get
an error about gAwk being not installed.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow Installation Instructions (1.4_rc4)
2. Launch scripts/bootstrap.sh
3.

Actual Results:
Like explained in Details, i get an error about gAwk being not installed.

Expected Results:
Install bootstrap sucessfully ;)

I'm on an Athlon XP 2000+ at 1668MHz with 512 Mo DDR.
I use an Alcatel SpeedTouch for Internet connexion.

This should be fixed now. Can you retry with a current rsync tree, and follow-up on this bug with your results?

With a new rsync tree, this bug appear to be fixed !!
Comment 3 Chris Gianelloni (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-25 11:25:07 UTC
Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
