Description José Romildo Malaquias 2008-02-15 20:06:19 UTC
xine's window is getting stretched vertically on my notebook (~x86), even before opening any video for playing.

I have xine-lib-1.1.10.1 and xine-ui-0.99.5-r1.

Other programs (vlc-0.9.0_alpha20080128, mplayer-1.0_rc2_p25993) works as expected. I am seeing the problem only with xine.

I have tried different versions of the video driver. With xf86-video-i810-1.7.4 there is no problem (but then the video mode 1280x800 is unavailable). This behaviour is noticed with xf86-video-i810-2.1.1, xf86-video-i810-2.2.0.90 and xf86-video-i810-2.2.1_pre20080125.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

If other video players are unaffected, this sounds more like a xine-lib issue.

Keeping myself as CC as the Intel driver is far from being perfect :)

Thanks

After the latest updates on ~x86 portage, xine is working as expected.

I do not know exactly what package update has solved the problem, as I update my system almost daily, and I was not trying to run xine everyday. But among the updates there is a set of X related stuff.

So I am closing this bug.

Alright, thanks for the follow up.
