The MGM from 3 years ago is curiously enough outdated right now. 1. In the mgm version available in portage most of the plugins it collects it data with don't work at all any more. 2. A newer version with working plugins has been picked up from their current svn (14496). 3. ??? 4. Profit! Here's the entry for the changelog :) Regards. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start outdated version of mgm 2. See plugins fail at startup and thus no data being displayed 3. Cry out in frustration as you realize the version in portage is rather outdated ;) Actual Results: The meters aren't even being loaded since the plugins fail on loading (changed proc etc). Expected Results: The meters from mgm display information and correct one at that.
Maybe they could release something instead?!
Yeah, well, unfortunately we don't get to give orders to upstream and give them punishments if they don't comply. I will shoot them an email, though :)
You would think that, yes. But then the package on their website (which is the 1.1) has been the one downloadable for at least 3 years (even though it's probably closer to 6-7 years). Good luck on getting someone to reply heh In the meanwhile I'll just keep using my artificial x11-misc/mgm-1.11 ;)
