hi, 

my /etc/make.conf  contains:
...
PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage "
source /usr/portage/local/layman/make.conf

and /usr/portage/local/layman/make.conf:
PORTDIR_OVERLAY="
/usr/portage/local/layman/sunrise
/usr/portage/local/layman/sajinet
/usr/portage/local/layman/science
/usr/portage/local/layman/xemacs
/usr/portage/local/layman/sabayon
$PORTDIR_OVERLAY
"

ebuilds in /usr/local/portage will be found/displayed but the the layman ebuilds not.

Reproducible: Always

Yes, I'm afraid layman is not anymore what it once was. 

Please file an upstream bug at http://trac.kuroo.org/kuroo/report and add a link to it here. If there's any progress (e. g. a patch) on said upstream bug that would allow us to fix this issue, please re-open this bug.
