Arch teams, please test sys-apps/portage-2.1.4.4 and mark it stable. This release is intended for use in building 2008.0 release media. Also, this will be the first stable version that supports reuse of the saved ebuild environment for binary and installed packages (bug 56408). Bug 200044 tracks all bugs fixed since 2.1.3.x.
