Perl: after I upgraded module-build, this went away, so perhaps update the deps in Extutils-CBuilder?
That doesn't help much ... I don't have ANY ExtUtils-CBuilder, all versions in tree have this error, and ALL versions of module-build in tree depends on ExtUtils-CBuilder.
Ok. dev-perl/module-build can both be installed without ExtUtils-CBuilder (with --nodeps) and build ExtUtils-CBuilder without ExtUtils-CBuilder.
This bug was open long enough. I don't know what was wrong. (/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.4/ExtUtils/Install.pm looks really old.)
