Description Daniel 2008-02-11 21:37:48 UTC
www-client/mozilla-firefox crashes when I scroll pages down. It does not happen when I use www-client/mozilla-firefox-bin. This bug has been present for quite some versions in my system, and I have failed to find the problem. Had little help in the forums too. Currently using 2.0.0.12.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch firefox
2. open a long webpage
3. scroll down

Actual Results:
Firefox segfaults

Expected Results:
I would expect the firefox did not segfault...

Well no... Do not refer to forums for bug description. We need a backtrace and emerge --info output at least. Reopen when ready, thanks.

I just discovered that enabling USE="moznopango" fixes my issue. Also I should say that the website that most easily triggers the crash is forums.gentoo.org.

Can we close this one, then?
Comment 8 Daniel 2008-07-18 23:16:54 UTC
As you wish, except that I do have x11-libs/pango installed in my system...
