Updated portage, had new version of boost.  Build failed very early on after printing error about bjam version.  Rebuilt boost-build with same results

Turns out problem was my fault.  I had a copy of the binary in another folder in path.  That was my first guess, but somehow yesterday  I missed it(late night).  It's compiling fine now. Sorry.
