Description Jens Mueller 2008-02-03 23:13:01 UTC
Current messages are:

 * Messages for package app-cdr/k3b-1.0.4:

 * /usr/share/applications/kde/k3b.desktop: value "application/x-k3b" for string list key "MimeType" in group "Desktop Entry" does not have a semicolon (';') as trailing character
 * We don't install k3bsetup anymore because Gentoo doesn't need it.
 * If you get warnings on start-up, uncheck the "Check system
 * configuration" option in the "Misc" settings window.
 * Make sure you have proper read/write permissions on the cdrom device(s).
 * Usually, it is sufficient to be in the cdrom group.

The last line should mention the cdrw group, it can be quite difficult to find out if you don't know what to look for ...

Reproducible: Always

Dunno about your devices, but my burners are 0660 root:cdrom and that's what udev creates; adding myself to cdrw group is unneeded and pretty much useless.

Indeed, WONTFIXing per Jakubs comment.
