# Marcelo Goes <vanquirius@gentoo.org> (16 Feb 2006) # Lacks needed functionality - someone volunteered to fix it # See bug 117898 net-libs/libpcap-ringbuffer This has been sitting in the tree masked for two years; unless it's fixed now (very unlikely from a quick look at the changelog) it should be just removed. Thanks.
New libpcap version (1.0.0) supports ringbuffer OOTB, so there is really no reason to keep net-libs/libpcap-ringbuffer any longer.
BTW: I don't have sufficient privileges, can someone please add bug #245171 to the dependency list?
Please do last rites. But since it was hardmasked to wait another month or not to wait is up to you. I just want this happen one day.
