Description Dylan Cooke 2003-05-12 11:51:27 UTC
Today I tried to emerge openoffice, and one of the required components is
J2SDK FCS 1.3.1.. here is the error message I got:

>>> Downloading
ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/linux/devel/lang/java/blackdown.org/JDK-1.3.1/i386/FCS/j2sdk-1.3.1-FCS-linux-i386.tar.bz2
--09:42:28--
ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/linux/devel/lang/java/blackdown.org/JDK-1.3.1/i386/FCS/j2sdk-1.3.1-FCS-linux-i386.tar.bz2
           => `/usr/portage/distfiles/j2sdk-1.3.1-FCS-linux-i386.tar.bz2'
Resolving metalab.unc.edu... done.
Connecting to metalab.unc.edu[152.2.210.81]:21... failed: Connection
refused.
!!! Couldn't download j2sdk-1.3.1-FCS-linux-i386.tar.bz2. Aborting.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log in as root
2. Type "emerge openoffice"
3. Observe the error

Actual Results:
The server refused the connection

Expected Results:
Downloaded, unpacked and installed j2sdk so OpenOffice could then be installed.

Portage 2.0.47-r10 (default-1.0, gcc-2.95.3, glibc-2.2.5-r2)
