evolution 2.12.2 fails to compile, complaining about lacking UTF-8 conversion routines from pilot-link.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge evolution

Expected Results:  
Evolution should compile.

Turning off the pda USE flag allows compilation to progress.

Same error as bug 67733, but the patch/fix from that bug doesn't seem regressed (checked configure.in).

I had pilot-link with USE flags java,perl,python all *off*.  Tried recompiling pilot-link with them all on.  Evolution had same error.

Ahh, sorry.

Realize that this happened in a normal, stable gnome upgrade.

That was indeed the problem.
