Same error as bug 67733, but the patch/fix from that bug doesn't seem regressed (checked configure.in).
I had pilot-link with USE flags java,perl,python all *off*. Tried recompiling pilot-link with them all on. Evolution had same error.
Oh ... I have a lot of overlays -- I did test with them off, just fyi. :-)

Ahh, sorry. Realize that this happened in a normal, stable gnome upgrade. That was indeed the problem.
