This is caused by a known issue in the cvs to rsync transfer. The Manifest commit has to be done separately after the ebuild commit since ebuild has a header which causes it's digest to change when it is committed. http://sources.gentoo.org/viewcvs.py/gentoo-x86/x11-wm/metacity/Manifest?r1=1.263&r2=1.264 It may take some time before the Manifest update appears on all rsync mirrors.
