TuxOnIce for kernel 2.6.24 is out. See http://www.tuxonice.net/downloads/all/tuxonice-3.0-rc5-for-2.6.24.patch.bz2

It installs just fine together with genpatches-2.6.24-1.

ebuild for 2.6.24 will be attached (only changed version numbers, in comparison to tuxonice-sources-2.6.23-r9).

Please don't reuse old bugs, see bug #217099
