Well, it compiles just perfectly fine here. @qt: are you interested in co-maintaining this package? This is totally outside of PHP herds scope. If not, it's going to end up as m-needed thing mostly likely.
This error seems to occur when x11-libs/qwt-5.0* is installed, as far as I can tell there is no easy way to disable this optional dependancy (well with cmake args anyway).

In CVS, hard-disabling qwt with the patch from Comment #3; since this fails w/ smoke-4, nothing else we could do here ATM unless someone provides better solution.
