Ah, I forgot to mention that when I use "qdepends -QC <pkg>" or "qdepends -Q -C <pkg>" I get colored output despite -C flag being set.
The -Q takes options. So -Q -C would see the '-C' as a regexp string vs actually trying to disable color. Try -CQ <cat/pkg> Note: -Q, --query <arg> * Query reverse deps
