I have USE=-arts, but klamav-0.42 complains about aRts not being installed correctly when I try to install it: checking for mcopidl... not found configure: error: The important program mcopidl was not found! Please check whether you installed aRts correctly or use --without-arts to compile without aRts support (this will remove functionality). Shouldn't USE=-arts cause --without-arts to be passed to configure? Confirmed. Exactly the same error. I use ~amd64 arch, though.
I added a patch that fixes this to bug #171414 as the fix for that bug caused this problem.
