Description Joachim Blaabjerg (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-04-24 12:17:51 UTC
Quota 3.03 and linux-2.4.19 doesn't work - I'll attach a diff (to be applied in /usr/portage) to get the new
ebuild (just bumped the version).

Uhm, I guess I should add that I haven't really verified that 3.04 works either, but that's what I've heard.
Comment 3 Joachim Blaabjerg (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-04-24 12:30:37 UTC
Bleh, a bit hasty that one.

"CONFIG_QIFACE_COMPAT:

This option will enable old quota interface in kernel.
If you have old quota tools (version <= 3.04) and you don't want to
upgrade them say Y here."

I've heard rumours that it still doesn't work, though. Can anyone verify?
I've decremented the priority anyhow.

well, in my eager i committed the new ebuild...
shouldn't brake anything (does it?), just does not resolve
this bug (right?)
Comment 5 Joachim Blaabjerg (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-04-24 13:00:57 UTC
No, AFAIK it doesn't break anything. At least it compiles fine...
Comment 6 Joachim Blaabjerg (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-08-27 09:46:57 UTC
Hm. That's invalid. :)
