Description Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-01-22 16:44:12 UTC
# qfile `which qstat`
games-util/qstat (/usr/bin/qstat)
sys-cluster/torque (/usr/bin/qstat)

games-util/qstat also installs a symlink `quakestat' to the qstat executable, so maybe the best solution is to install quakestat and not qstat. Otherwise, the packages will need to block each other.

games package should probably put the binaries in GAMES_BINDIR anyhow. I think something out there might count on the file being called qstat.... not sure.

games-util/xqf looks for qstat
Comment 3 Justin Bronder (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-02-20 02:44:49 UTC
@games: I'm fine with adding a blocker unless you feel it's ok to move to /usr/games/bin.
Comment 4 Tristan Heaven (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-04-06 00:32:33 UTC
It would still break things looking for qstat in your PATH.

Added blocker to games-util/qstat.

Blocker added to sys-cluster/torque. Closing.
