Description Narada Sage 2003-05-09 07:39:46 UTC
Hello. Here is a small enhancement request to etcat to make it easier to
use. Currently, the use of etcat is etcat -param arg but doing etcat arg -
param doesn't have the same effect and lists usage. It is often more
convenient to put params after the arg because then it can quickly be changed
to another one. So it would be useful if -params could be added anywhere on
the line and it would be picked up and effected. Many thanks.

unfortunately no. i'm not going to complicate the script by allowing freeform parameters in the near future.

thanks for your suggestion though, if you want to pursue this further, feel free to actually knock up a patch that does it and submit it to us :)
