Description Yannick Koehler 2008-01-21 20:28:12 UTC
I was compiling the liblockfile-1.06-r2 and got this message:

* This package will overwrite one or more files that may belong to other
* packages (see list below). Add "collision-protect" to FEATURES in
* make.conf if you would like the merge to abort in cases like this. You
* can use a comand such as ...

* Detected file collision(s):
*
*   /usr/lib/liblockfile.so.1

wierd...

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
upgrade to 1.06-r2 (can't say the version I had before, sorry!

So which other package does own this?

portageq owners / /usr/lib/liblockfile.so.1
Comment 2 Yannick Koehler 2008-01-21 20:43:21 UTC
localhost ~ # portageq owners / /usr/lib/liblockfile.so.1
net-libs/liblockfile-1.06-r2
  /usr/lib/liblockfile.so.1

Well, then there's nothing we could do here unless you find out what left the file there, sorry.
