Created attachment 11708 [details] Ebuild for aespipe
Created attachment 22314 [details] ebuild+digest for aespipe-2.2a (untar in /usr/local/portage/app-crypt) Fixed original ebuild submission to work with current portage using doexe and dodoc, and also updated to the latest aespipe available. The ebuild should be easy to update for newer versions as all references within the ebuild now use standard portage variables. I'd love to see it in portage :)
Created attachment 22317 [details] added the doman to install the man page and the bz2aespipe script added the doman to install the man page and the bz2aespipe script
Looks ok to me - have a few comments: Add the ebuild as text only - no digest required. Obselete the first ebuild too. Add EBUILD to the keywords. Change summary to indicate that it is a new ebuild. /usr/local/bin probably should be /usr/bin (no /usr/local/bin in gentoo) LICENSE=GPL-2 (license name has to exist as a file in /usr/portage/licenses) Have you realy tested these on all ~x86 ~ppc ~sparc ~alpha ~mips ~hppa these archs? If no leave it as a comment that it should work on these archs... These changes will be necessary for the ebuild to be accepted.
You've undoubtly seen these refs however ask if you need help k. http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/policy.xml http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-howto.xml
Created attachment 24196 [details] updated aespipe with static exe Obsoletes original ebuild too (I did not submit that so I can't obsolete). Works nicely on x86. Please test and add to portage.
In CVS, thanks!
