they modify very often in cvs, and I failed to compile them myself... :(

i don't like to support unnecessary cvs ebuilds in the tree. If you want to develop a 3rd-party app using mono/gtk-sharp you better follow the releases and fix api changes after a release. If you are a developer, you want local checkouts, not a cvs ebuild.
