hi. i would be useful to have DESCRIPTION from the ebuilds in the <description> tag of each item in the atom/xml feeds from packages.gentoo.org.

this way, someone can see what a particular package does right in their rss reader.

The Atom spec does not support a <description> tag, however I implemented this in a different way.
