emerging gnome-pim-1.4.8 fails for me with:

linking ./intl/libgettext.h to intl/libintl.h
configure: error: ./intl/libgettext.h: File not found

This is the same error described in bug 3962. It works if I set USE="nls" (I
have it disabled in make.conf). Seems to be an error in configure.

hmm something changed somewhere somehow, but these problems keep cropping up now and then. I don't think it's worth it to really look into this, so i've just disabled nls for gnome-pim.
