Nicholas, can you check?

Thanks

I have also noticed this seems out of date. After not having any new ebuilds after doing a --sync, I manually changed to using rsync5.ca.gentoo.org. A large number of new ebuilds were downloaded, which had not been done from rsync10.us.gentoo.org

Removed from DNS rotation, I'll leave it in the ACL for now, in case the admin responds.

Are you sure?

SYNC="rsync://rsync.namerica.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage"

and I've hit this mirror twice at machines way far way from each other not using the same DNS.

It's not removed from rsync.namerica but from rsync.us. I've already poked him about that
Comment 6 Shyam Mani (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-03-01 19:40:41 UTC
Removing from ACL. Can't find him anywhere on DNS.
